Subject: Support for Vista Aero?
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Notes 8 Client
Technical Area: User Interface
Platform: Windows Vista client
Release: Notes and Domino 8 - GOLD
Reproducible: Always

I have a new laptop with 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and 2GB RAM, running Notes 8 on Vista. I'm able to run the Aero interface until I launch Notes, during which the O/S eventually switches over to the Vista Basic UI.

I assume this means you need more than 2GB RAM to run Notes on Vista with Aero? Is there anyway then to limit the amount of memory that Notes can occupy? Perhaps there's a way to constantly force Aero UI in Vista?

Does anyone else have this experience? Any ideas? I'd love to have Notes 8 on glass!!!

Thanks in advance.
